WordCityStudio Inc. was founded in 2016 by multimedia artist, writer and consultant Kathleen Sweeney, in collaboration with creative imaging and technology expert Jeffrey Marino.

Kathleen Sweeney

Kathleen Sweeney is a multimedia storyteller whose work weaves text and media at the intersection of digital, urban and social cultural maps. Her video and web projects have been funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, New York State Council on the Arts, Ford Foundation and other resources, with residencies at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts; Cill Rialaig Arts Centre, Ireland; and Mind and Life Institute Europe, Germany.

As a creative communications consultant, Kathleen provides key insights to artists, filmmakers, non-profits and news organizations. With an emphasis on positive ideas – those that inspire solutions, empathy and the good – she helps clients optimize their social media strategy and tactics with their organizational mission and goals.

Jeffrey Marino

Jeffrey Marino is expert in content management technology and has a background in video post-production, corporate communications and broadcast news. He has had key roles in two NYC software startups specializing in automated content customization technology, and  is a PMI Certified Associate Project Manager.
